The passage from La Coruna exceeded most expectations as the forecast headwinds backed into the West and gave most yacts a beam reach towards France. Shenanigan arrived off Houat before dusk on Thursday and were joined by others early on Friday for a day on the beach and a very successful BBQ.

Everyone arrived in a very busy La Trinite by midday Saturday and were thankful that berths had been reserved for the rally.

A Breton seafood supper was enjoyed by all at the Mouillage restaurant on Saturday evening followed by a gentle start on Sunday morning.

The briefing for the cruising leg through Brittany and back to England was held in the Societe Nautique on Sunday. The final social event of the rally was held that evening and prizes were awarded for the photo competition and completion certificates and plaques were also given to each yacht. By midday Monday all yachts had departed La Trinite for the cruise homewards.Photographs will follow...
