With the customary Blue Water Rally professional support and like minded friends, you start in Gibraltar in late October, stage at Lanzarote and then it’s the big one to Antigua and the warm waters of the Caribbean, in time for Christmas. 

Bustling Gibraltar is an ideal place to start.  Geographically it is ideal for joining from the Mediterranean or Northern Europe.  Blue Water Rallies will be on hand to help your last minute preparations and to ensure everyone quickly gets to know everyone else; this is one of the real strengths of the team.  After some parties, seminars and other preparatory work, the sense of camaraderie builds up on the short 5-day passage to the Canaries.

Lanzarote’s Puerto Calero is an excellent jumping off base.  In our opinion, the marina is one of the best and friendliest in Europe.  With some shared experience just acquired, the bonding process continues.  So when you set off across the Atlantic, you know everyone you are talking to on the net.  When you want reassurance, advice  or assistance, you know it will be there from friends you can count on, all the way across ‘The Pond’. 

Antigua is the ideal arrival spot.  Jolly Harbour has all amenities right on hand, with some lovely restaurants and golden sand beaches.  This is just what you need for some post Atlantic R&R.  As each yacht arrives, the safe passage is celebrated, the party atmosphere builds and you can bask in the lovely sunshine on a platform that stays rock steady..... and Christmas is just around the corner.

Communications, cameraderie and confidence.
