News from Rally Control has been a bit thin of late as crews have been doing their own things around the coast of Eastern Australia.  Some have taken a "holiday from the holiday".  Jackamy went as far afield as skiing in New Zealand!  Others have flown home to see families and friends or penetrated deep into Australia to enjoy the tourist high spots.

With Sol Maria and Laroobaa now fully enrolled members of the Oz Med Rally, 3 other yachts are rubbing shoulders with the rally and will join up when they get to Darwin in October.  'Moonshadow' is a well known yacht on the rally, having sailed with us in the past to get to the Pacific.  'Moonbeam', is a newcomer from Dartmouth and heading homeward.  With 'Moonshiner' already on the rally, they are bound to attract a few nicknames!  Catamaran 'Nautibuoytoo' is also heading in the same direction; Paco and his crew are Australian and heading towards the Mediterranean.  We welcome them all.  When they get to Darwin, they will meet up with the Italian yacht 'Talismano', another past rallier who is joining us once more for the trip home.
