YM Blue Water Rally > 2009 Events at our Boat Show Stand
With the New Year on the near horizon and our current Blue Water Rally safely cruising in Phuket our Boat Show stand at Excel gives us a window onto our 2009 events and a chance to meet friends both old and new.The new Blue Water Rally 2009 - 11 sets off in October and will be joined by Rally Antigua 2009 for the first 2 legs - from Gibraltar to Antigua via Puerto Calero in Lanzarote. We look forward to meeting up with those joining these 2 events, setting off to "sail the dream" in the sunshine of the Caribbean and amongst some of the most spectacular cruising grounds in the world.
Much nearer home, but still a great adventure , we shall see our Yachting Monthly Biscay Triangle set off in July from Torquay for its popular cruise "around the Bay" to La Coruna in northern Spain and to La Trinite in Brittany. Family orientated and great fun, the YM Biscay Triangle is for some a stepping stone to long distance cruising and for others a chance for a little more adventure than the annual Cross-Channel cruise. We shall also be launching our latest event, the YM Atlantic Islands Rally, providing cruising yachtsmen the chance to sail in company from Cascais on mainland Portugal to Madeira and on to Lanzarote. We expect this to become a popular event in the international cruising calendar for those heading to cruise the Canaries or to pre-position for an Atlantic crossing ..... or both! Like all our other events the AIR , of course, comes with experienced professional support from the Blue Water Rallies team and a great time in 3 different ports of call.
Oh, yes, not forgetting a mention of our free seminar on Ocean Cruising with Nigel Calder and experienced world sailors on Saturday 17th!!
So, we hope we shall see you there - perhaps for a bit of advice, perhaps to discuss your future cruising plans or to sign up for one of our 2009 events. Whatever your cruising aspirations do come and see us on Stand N70A between 9 and 18 January. In the meantime, our very Best Wishes from the Blue Water team and fair winds and great cruising in 2009.
